I could well believe he found no fucking on the other side. Probably didn't find any smoking either
Of course there are many anomalies and different experiences of the other world. Perhaps clinical death and spiritual death are different. I know of a person who was brain dead for 28 minutes and returned to consciousness unaffected by that condition. He did have a spiritual experience.
