And the Times-Communist as I lovingly call it, is my home town rag. It no doubt picked up the story because there are people here in this most English of Canadian cities who think they are still in England. The Queen suggested that Victoria is her favourite Canadian city. When the city hosted the Commonwealth Games in 1994, the Queen still owned the royal yacht Britannia. She paid to have the city's inner harbour dredged so she could park in front of her provincial legislature who's dome can be seen on the masthead of the article. It is imho one of the finest such buildings ever.
