Famous statements often create endless puzzlement as to priority. _Some_
U.S. president, referring to a particularly odious Caribbean tyrant,
declared, "He's a son of a bitch, but he's _our_ son of a bitch." On
another list some years ago there was a debate that became heated at
times over whether this was by Teddy or Franklin. The puzzle never was
resolved.
