Session: "German II: 1700 – 1890: The Mythic and the Mundane"
From reason and empiricism to ancient artworks, from the muses to the concrete and mundane, this era saw radical shifts in sources of inspiration for German-speaking thinkers and artists.
This session invites papers and 20-minute presentations for the German II: 1700- 1890 panel at the 68th Annual Convention of the South Central Modern Language Association held in Hot Springs, AR, October 27-29, 2011 at the Arlington Hotel and Spa.
