Dear Members of the German CFP List,

The German CFP list is celebrating its 9th anniversary this month and currently has more than 1200 members! Thank you for making it a success.

I would like to welcome Olaf Schmidt as our Assistant Editor. Olaf does not really need an introduction, since he has done a wonderful job as Acting Assistant Editor for the last year. I am very glad he will be assuming the role for the longer term.
