My thought is, as I wrote earlier, first he devours my grandparents,
then my parents, then me.

Just off the top of my head -- in the section before we had Mr.
Silvero et al making small deliberations. I had been thinking
these small actions were a communion of sorts, simple acts like
eating bread and drinking wine. I'm going to rethink this now.
