Yes. But why do you have difficulty in acknowledging, implicitly or
explicitly, that "many philosophers" have _and still are_ and will be
still 10 20 100 years from now debating the propositions you toss out as
"settled by postmodernism." It's a big complicated world -- and we don't
know yet the first thing about it -- whether it is a universeor a
multiverse. Over a century ago Engels pointed out that oly at some
indefinite point in the future will we know whether the world is a unity
or not, whether human knowlede can be complete or not, and so on. It
sets people's teeth on edge when someone issues pronuncments as tough
everything has been settled.
