It's the sort of nonsense re women that has been a staple at the NYT
(both news and editorial pages) for many years. The Times, for example,
published thousands of words of stupidity re professional women not
marrying. It it's in the NYT & references "women" (as a group), it's
best to use it to wrap spoiled fish in.
