The other day I had an enquiry from someone reading my website.
She was having problems following a link to some information about
"That Shakesphearian Rag." I sent her to another page that had
the lyrics and some other information about it and other songs
in TWL. It is:
http://world.std.com/~raparker/exploring/thewasteland/exsongs.html
Later I decided it was time to get more information about it myself
so I did some more searching. I may have found the music this time.
The problem is that it is in .wma format and I can't listen to it
to check it out myself (don't ask.)
The link to it (and "Red Wing," which was the source for TWL's
"Mrs. Porter" ballad) was found on this page:
'Perfessor' Bill Edwards Recordings and Sheet Music
Vintage Ragtime Recordings on Siggnal Sounds
http://www.perfessorbill.com/albums/pbrec4.shtml
For "That Shakesphearian Rag" 'Perfessor' Bill links to:
http://ragpiano.com/jukebox/ash3_06.wma
(599,445 bytes)
For "Red Wing" the link is to:
http://ragpiano.com/jukebox/wood2_05.wma
(432,293 bytes)
Regards,
Rick Parker
