The German Crime Fiction and Film Panel of the Rocky
Mountain MLA invites the submission of
papers/presentations for its session at the convention
in Tucson, AZ on October 12-14, 2006.
Topics may include, but are not limited to:
- crime and gender
- crime and the body
- the aesthetics of crime
- cultural transfer / translation
- genre
- crime and the other
- regional, national, and ethnic identities
- history/memory - crime and/of the German past
- sociological approaches
- marketing/production
- filmic adaptations of texts
Submission Requirements: 300-word abstract and a
50-word description.
Submissions must be received by March 1, 2006.
