I own copies of these:
THOUGHTS AFTER LAMBETH
THE THREE VOICES OF POETRY
POEMS WRITTEN IN EARLY YOUTH
I would recommend the first to those interested in Eliot's Anglicanism (the essay begins, "The Church of England washes its dirty linen in public.") or want to buy it just for that infamous take on TWL ("when I wrote a poem called The Waste Land some of the more approving critics said that I had expressed the 'disillusionment of a generation', which is nonsense. I may have expressed for them their own illusion of being disillusioned, but that did not form part of my intention.")
The second is a wonderful little lecture Eliot gave to the National Book League, in which he detailed what the three voices of poetry are (1. the poet talking to himself, 2. the poet addressing an audience, and 3. the voice of the poet speaking through a dramatic character) as well as giving a poet's apostrophe to his finished work: "Go away! Find a place for yourself in a book--and don't expect me to take any further interest in you."
The last is a collection of Eliot's earliest poetry (I believe there is even one from when he was in grammar school). I really like some of these, and would be interested in hearing your impressions on them some time. If you like Eliot at all, this is worth getting.
