Strange that it would not be available, having aired so recently. I did a quick check on e-bay -- surprising what can sometimes be found there -- but, unfortunately, the answer to your question "can I help", is "no".
I can sympathize though (for what that's worth). I've spent years occassionally searching for any format containing George Hoellering's 1950's film of "Murder in the Cathedral". Though there's a book on the making of the film, the film itself is available no-where on line, and not to be had even by pilgrimage to Cantebury itself (as my sister informed me after a recent trip there). But at least that is old enough that the unavailability seems more understandable.
I saw the Shaw performance when it was in NYC (I forget the year). I found it well worthwhile. It is, of course, far shorter than a feature film.
