of the US is a wonder to behold.

My mother was born and raised in the US.
When I was little, she taught me to hate it.
Her German parents had experienced extreme prejudice.
It's been a struggle getting over that. Living
and working there has helped.

From my point of view, the most un-United Statesian
thing possible was slavery and the refusal
even now to deal with its consequences. Un-
til that happens the US will have nothing to
CROW about.
