Problem is, this is even worse than asking him to write the poem twice.
He's put the experience revived in its meaning into the language of art.
He's done his job. If the student (or critic or interpreter) wants to put
it into his or her own language, that is his or her job, not Eliot's. This
is an unfair criticism.
