Dear IBS Members and Friends,
The International Brecht Society always sponsors two sessions at the annual

following topics, please contact the organizer directly with your proposal
1) Brecht and Postwar Popular Music
Papers sought on connections between Brecht and postwar popular music
practitioners or on Brechtian discourses that mediate issues of postwar
popular music and performance (including jazz, rock\'n\'roll, punk, rap, etc.).
Contact: Norman Roessler, Temple University ([log in to unmask])
2) Brecht and Violence
Papers sought on Brecht's representations of violence (war; physical,

on Brechtian approaches to conflict resolution (e.g., Lehrstueck models).
