Dear WIG Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the “Sophie Journal,” a juried online publication
that posts quality papers and articles on the art, literature, lives, and
experience of early German-speaking women from 1740-1939. By providing a
collection of insightful essays, we hope to share information, generate ideas,
and offer fresh perspectives on early German-speaking women and their unique
contributions.
Advanced researchers, undergraduates, and graduate students alike are invited
to submit noteworthy contributions. If you or your students have research
papers that address women’s experiences as outlined above, we encourage you to
send them to the “Sophie Journal” for review. Submission criteria and our
mission statement are available on our website: http://sophie.byu.edu/. If you
are interested in becoming a reviewer for the journal, please contact me at
the email address above.
Best regards,
Janet Holmgren
