September is the brightest month, sowing
Dull roads and mountain glades with
Nature's color, warmth for winter roots.
Monsoons swirl and dull pastures
Finally green.  Crows gather and
When the sandhill cranes come home
We know the Red Sox won't win the World Series.
Again.
