My dear Nancy:
I'm fully prepared to follow you on the tack you seem to have decided to
take.
Believe it, or not, I have not been reacting to you personally.
I have no interest whatsoever in you as a person--I am sure you're as fine a
scholar as any, although it's impossible to imagine a scholar of any
significance wanting to waste time and energy on participating in a forum of
this kind--harmless, but fundamentally useless.
My problem is with the haughty snottiness that you display and, if you're
honest, you'll note that I'm not the first, last, and/or only "participant"
to have commented on your attitude.
Jacek
