Incidentally, if you strip the article I fwd of its specific references
to either Eliot or anti-semitism some of the arguments in it are
suggestive re the 'use' of either poetry or criticism. (I came across it
while trying to look up the identity of the author of an older Guardian
article on Freud and Wittgenstein.)
Reminds ine of theold concept of stockstatements
which usually proceed from stock thinking.
