The polls now and all along have shown support for the war IF the UN
supports it and IF our allies support it. It goes down to a minority IF it is
us alone, and that has been true all along. Yet headlines keep saying
Americans support war and either leave out the real "support" or put it on a
back page below the fold. And since last weekend even that support has
gone down. It is simply false that Americans support going to war on our
own--they don't now and they have not in any poll.
The millions were all over the world, and the pictures were pretty clear. So
anyone can just say they were inflated, but many who were there say they
were deflated. The fact that huge rallies went on all over the world is really
not to be dismissed anymore than the FACT that the support is ONLY for
a war with allies and the UN.

Only Bush, Nancy? Come on. The polls still put most Americans in favor
of the war. What millions who marched? The numbers were all inflated, as
even the most liberal media personnel felt honor bound to point out.
