I just received my copy of _Modernism/Modernity_ that Cassandra
Laity wrote about last week, and I think it looks fascinating. It has
a long essay on the Eliot-Kallen correspondence by Ron
Schuchard, and then there are responses by David Bromwich, Ron
Bush, Denis Donoghue, Anthony Julius, James Longenbach, and
Marjorie Perloff. The focus is on "Burbank."
Whatever view members of this list have taken in the past, this
reopens the whole discussion. I have only skimmed the comments
so far, but I think everyone would find it fascinating.
