Given the vast amount of time Eliot spent on
other things, what percentage of his time, over the whole course of his
life, do you think he spent on his poetry--writing it, thinking about
it, revising it, or getting it published?

Somewhere, I think it was on a BBC interview, he indicated
that he practiced verse 3 hours a day, so he would be in
shape for when the good stuff came along.
