Sorry. I try to stay away from political posts but I felt I should
amend some problems with the following post.
> A SECRET blueprint for US global domination reveals that President
> Bush and his cabinet were planning a premeditated attack on Iraq to
> secure 'regime change' even before he took power in January 2001.
> The blueprint, uncovered by the Sunday Herald, for the creation of a
> 'global Pax Americana' was drawn up for Dick Cheney [et al.] The
> document, entitled Rebuilding America's Defences: Strategies, Forces
> And Resources For A New Century, was written in September 2000 by the
> neo-conservative think-tank Project for the New American Century
> The plan shows Bush's cabinet intended to take military control of the
> Gulf region ...
The Sunday Herald report doesn't mention whether Bush or Cheney or
anyone else asked that this report be written. Anyone can write a
report for the use of someone else. If they did ask for the report,
did they say what they wanted in it or did they ask for the opinions
of the people at the think tank?
As for the Sunday Herald's sleuthing - from this webpage I see that a
report with this name was released in September, 2000
You can download a copy (PDF) of the "secret" report.
A web search also shows that this "Rebuilding America's Defences" stuff
was in Washington D.C. papers in December, 2000.
