In this case, it may just about be.
First, the front tries to pass for a friend of the enemy. Thus, 'Kate'
creates a kind of ritzy-liberal identity with mails about swinging breasts,
wine-sipping in Florida and a smattering of French.
Then, the tone changes, the mask comes off, and the substance of the message
is revealed: "Let's bomb those towelheads into the third circle of hell".
Granted, fronts are usually not so crude in their efforts at manipulating
opinion...
