We see the world differently. I think we all need compassion. I think we are all
ordinary, except in occasional ways.
As for what Eliot thinks ... I too have to write later, but will try to take you
up on your good points on the agency of the hands, the tone of "sort of people," the
point of view of the furnished rooms passage, time's masquerades.
