Thanks for your thoughts Kate. I'm still reading the list. I decided that
I hogged enough time in June and July that a disappearance would be in
order. I've also got a lot going on in both my personal and professional
lives and I'm taking a TSE list vacation. I'm breaking the silence for a
couple of reasons.
1) To give thanks for Steve's resurrection and his stimulating posts and the
responses to them.
2) To comment on Marcia's rain post. Boston has had a heat wave. 100
degrees F. (38 C.??). That might not seem too bad by New Mexico standards
but the dew point was around 75 degrees, high humidity, TROPICAL!
3) I'm rushing to post that in the U.S. PBS is apparently rebroadcating Bill
Moyer's series of interviews with Joseph Campell on myths (first broadcast
c. 1988). It is being broadcast in Boston right now (8 PM) Check for this
in your area. It fits in with Fraser and Weston. Some might consider
