It was Steve that dug up and posted Pound's version of "Dans le
Restaurant." I've just checked my copy of the TSE archives and found
it with these headers:
#Subject: Erza Pound's full translation of T.S. Eliot's "Dans le Restaurant"
#From: [log in to unmask]
#Date: Fri, 26 May 2000 20:03:55 EDT
These lines may ring a bell because of the dog discussion that
Besides I'd no sooner got started that a big poodle
Came sniffing about and scared me pealess,
Steve wrote that he got a photocopy of the translation from Patricia
Willis, the curator of the Beinecke Library at Yale.
Thanks Steve. I know you're still lurking.
