Since I didn't recall Crippen mentioned before on-list I went looking
for him in the copy of the archives I have. Most mentions were before
I joined the list. For those who do have copies of the archives (and
I know there are some) I found Crippen mentioned in the following web
pages. Since I've already gone to the trouble looking I'm posting
them below. Some of these may be worthless as the mention of Crippen
may not in the main message but in the trails of replies.
Mentions were made of Eliot's fascination of murder and "doing a girl
in." Jim Loucks supplied a lot of detail, as usual (thanks Jim.)
